If I can’t have a character shout their name dramatically with a straight face, then it’s not allowed. Try not to go overboard with wacky creatures or overy-silly names. Channel that energy when making the character. Many Sonic characters have simple names that tell you everything you need to know about them or are bad puns. What’s your name? What are you? Neither of these things will have a direct influence on how your character functions mechanically, but consider tying the build and name/species identity together.
